December Ipsy Glam Bag

This months glam bag came a little sooner then I had expected, so when I opened up the mail box and saw the two pink envelops (one was my mums) I was super excited.
I love the bag this month! It is definitely my favorite so far, and I think it really is a glam bag. It covered with a dark pink fur, and has a metallic pink handle. The inside is lined with a slightly muted gold color.

Royal & Langnickel Angel Shader Brush

I haven't used this brush yet but I have a couple of brushes from this brand and I really like them, so I see no reason I won't like this one.

Jersey Shore Cosmetics Peppermint Lip Balm

I got Jersey Shore's lavender lip balm and it was really nice, as is this one. I wasn't to thrilled to get another lip balm, but I guess you can never have to many lip balms.

NYX Prismatic Shadow in Punk Heart

I love the packaging of this shadow, is super  cute. This is a lovely light purple shimmery shade, but I hardly ever wear purple eyeshadows. that's why I haven't swatched it, I haven't decided if I should give it away or give it a try.

Smashbox Insta-Matte Lipstick Transformer

I tried this out this morning, and to my complete surprise it actually worked! It made my lipstick look a soft matte, and last longer.

Aurora Intensively Precise Eyeliner in Cinnamon

When I saw that this eyeliner was brown I was very interested to give it a try, I have only ever used black and have been wanting to tryout a brown one. After using this this morning I was a little bit disappointed. I love the color, but the applicator was a bit iffy, I have to press down quite hard to get a even line. I also notice a small problem when is came to removing it, it didn't come of, I try makeup remover pads, remover cream, and face wash. So now I have a semi-permanent wing.

As far as the contents of this months bag goes this is my least favorite one, but the bag itself makes up for it as it is the cutest thing ever.

What is your favorite eyeliner? I have been wanting to get a new on but can't decide what one.
Are you all ready for Christmas yet?
Anna.

November Glam Bag: First Impressions

I got my November Ipsy glam bag this week!
The bag is so cute this month! If you read my review of lasts months glam bag you will know that I wasn't particularly fond of that last one. This one has constellations in the shapes of various makeup items, and the zipper has a little star on it.
Lasting Smiles organic lip balm. Lip balm is essential this time of year, so I'm never sorry to have a new one on hand. This one is pepper mint so it smells amazing, and a lovely feel on.
Plus every percuss from Lasting Smiles helps fund cleft surgeries for kids.
Absolute New York Matte Stick in Dark Red. I haven't used this because I never wear red lipstick, the two I have will probably last me a lifetime as it is. I will either give this to a friend or save it of a giveaway( Yes there will be a giveaway in the new year)
TheBalm Mad Lash mascara. I really like the wand on this mascara! When I first saw it I wasn't sure I would, but I have found it really easy to use. I am a bit on the fence about the mascara its self,  its a bit more of a messy look than I normally go for, but I'm still getting used to it.
Luxie beauty small duo fiber brush. I haven't used this one yet, but it looks really nice, and I love the rose gold on the handle.
Eyeko London Skinny liquid eyeliner in black. This has to be my favorite thing I received in this months bag. I have used one of Eyeko's other liners and I love that one as well. I have a hard time with eyeliner as a rule, so when I find one that I love it makes me really happy. This one is so easy to control and goes on beautifully.

Over all I was super happy with this months bag, and I can't wait for the next one.
I have decided that after next month I will be canceling my subscription and trying out something new.

Have you ever used a beauty subscription?
Which one would you recommend?
Have a wonderful weekend!
Anna.

October Glam Bag Review

It's that time again! The time we get to chat about a little thing called a Ipsy Glam Bag.
Before I get to far into this review I have a something I would like to get off my chest.
When I first saw a picture of what this months bag looked like I was disappointed, and maybe a little upset. Now I usually don't get upset about little things like this and to be completely honest I'm still not quite sure why I did this time. I think its because October is my favorite month and Halloween is my least favorite Holiday. I think it should have been a bit more generic because I know I'm not the only one that doesn't believe in Halloween.
Okay, just because I don't like this months bag doesn't mean I don't like the goodies that came in it.
Lottie London Eye Shadow Brush- I always love getting new makeup brushes(personally I don't think a girl can have to many). This one seems really nice, the bristles are quite thick and fluffy.
Trust Fund Gimme Good Face Primer- I also used this one this morning, and so far so good! I am not wearing a ton of makeup today, just some concealer, blush and eye makeup.
The Balm Hot Mama! Shadow/Blush-This is the tinniest little product, and for me is way to small to ever use as a blush. I used this as a eyeshadow this morning and really like it, it is a lovely light coral pink shade and is the tinniest bit glowy. I don't normally go for pink eyeshadows but I think I will get quite a bit of uses out of this one.
Tre'Stique Mini Matte Lip Crayon- This lip crayon is VERY pink I would call it a magenta, which was not at all what I was expecting. When you look at the case it makes you think it will be a deep red, and again when you look and the crayon its self, once its on it is a bright purple pink shade.
Sally's Box Aqua Moist Gel Cream- So far this one is my favorite of the five. It has a wonderful cooling feel, it goes on feeling very wet but absorbs very quickly leaving the skin feeling moisturized and happy.

So, overall I am very happy with the  contents of this months bag(even though I don't like the bag itself). I know I will use all of them, except maybe the lip crayon.
As for the bag, it will either be donated or disposed of, as I have no uses for it I see no reason to keep it about.

What do you think of this months bag?
Are you a Halloween fan?
Please let me know in the comments, I love hearing from y'all!
Have a wonderful day!
Anna.

My September Glam Bag

It came! My September Ipsy bag is here!
I always look forward to this coming in the mail, but after last months I was even more excited. I am afraid I didn't review last months glam bag because my computer was down, honestly I think it was the best one so far.
This months bag itself is quite cool, its not as cutesy as they have been( I don't mind the cutesy ones) which makes a nice little change. It is black with silver threads woven in, with a gold and white design on the front. The only problem I have with this bag is whatever its made out of smells a bit funny, when I open the package the first thing I was meet with was this really strong smell I can't really describe.
The first item I pulled out of the bag was the Briogeo Don't Despair Repair! Deep conditioning mask. This is the only one of the five products that I haven't tried out yet, but I am really looking forward to it. I really don't know a ton about this mask other then the fact that is has almond, avocado, and argan oil in it.
The next thing was this TreStique Mini Highlighter Stick in Maldives Luminescent. This highlighter is a really pretty pearly pink shade. I quite like this highlighter so far, its goes on nicely and it blends really well.  I wanted to swatch this for you, but my camera absolutely refused to focus on it.
Then there is the It Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara in Super Black. I am super impressed with this mascara, the volumizing effect it really impressive and the length it adds is remarkable. After a coat of lash primer and two coats of the mascara my lashes were more than doubled in length.
I was really excited for this Crown Brush Ombre Angle Brush. I have been on the hunt for some good brushes recently, and hopefully I will find a set here pretty soon. This is a super soft goat hair brush. I have been mainly using it as a contour bush, it is perfect for a soft natural look.
I always love a good lip balm! This Waxing Kara Sweet Lips Organic Honey Lip Balm seems really nice. I for some reason was expecting it to smell like honey, which it does not, I don't even thing I know what honey smells like.  It feel nice on the lips, not greasy or waxy.

This is a first(second)  impressions post, so if I didn't seem to have any set opinions that's why.
I am overall very impressed with this months bag,  I feel like I will be able to use all of the product. I have to say, I'm not a fan of the message on the little card that comes in the bag, its just not quite my style. Other than that I am very happy with everything

Have a wonderful day!
Anna

July Ipsy Glam Bag: Review

I got my July Ipsy bag, Yay!!
I was really looking forward to this one( like the last one, and the one before) because I had seen so spoilers, so I had a rough idea of what I might be getting.
This month unlike last month I really like the bag it's self, it's super cute and summery, with a slightly metallic shimmer.

 Mellow: Baked Eyeshadow in Coco

This is such a lovely gold/bronze color, just from the swatches  I can see that is very pigmented and has a very light shimmer.

Eva-Nyc: Get Glossed Hair Serum

I have gotten Eva-Nyc hair serum in my Ipsy bag before, and I have to say I wasn't quite ready to get another. While this does smell amazing, I'm really not a fan of hair oils and serums, but I will be giving this a fair chance.

J.Cat Beauty: Perfect Duo Brow Pencil in Dark Brown

I have never heard of this brand before, so I'm very interested in trying it out. I am a bit afraid this will be way to dark for me, I tend to be more of a dark blond when it comes to the brow department.

Make Up For Ever: Excessive Lash Mascara

I have heard of Make Up For Ever but haven't had a chance to try them, so I'm super excited to try out this mascara sample. It's made in France so it must be good right?

Trust Fund Beauty: Nail Polish in No Filter

This is the one I am the most excited about, if you have ever visited this blog before you will probably know why.  This is a really pretty grayish purple color (I know it sounds weird but it's really lovely) Plus it's non-toxic Yay!

J.Cat brow pencil, and Mellow in Coco.
Over all I am very pleased with this months bag, and I can't wait to try them all out a bit more.
I'm sorry this post is a bit choppy, my computer has crashed so I have to use my Kindle, which is not the best for blogging. So there might not be any posts up for a little while, and if there are they will probably be laking in pictures:(
Are you a fan of beauty subscriptions?
Have you ever tried any of these products?
Have a fantastic day,
Anna.

MY June Ipsy Glam Bag

I Everybody!
My June Ipsy glam bag came yesterday!  This is my second glam bag, and I was no less exited than I was for the first. If you have never heard of Ipsy before you can check out their website here
The theme this month is Rebel Rebel, which I am not crazy about, and I'm not crazy about the bag it's self either. I am excited about the products themselves, and am really looking forward to trying them out more in depth.

 Jouer Highlighter in Tiare

I used this to highlight my eyes this morning, so in the center of my eyelids and in the corners. I really like the formula so far, it a cream highlighter and a tiny bit shimmery.

The Balm Meet Matt(e)Trimony Eyeshadow in Matt Moskowitz

I used this in my crease this morning along with my Jesse's Girl palette, and it is a very nice matte shadow, smooth and blendable. I am a very neutral person when it comes to eyeshadow colors, so I was not at all sure how I would like this.

Elizabeth Mott Blush in Show Me Your Cheeks

This is such a lovely color! It is quite light, so you can use as little or as much as you need. I have quite a tricky time with blush, being rather fair sometimes I put on blush and just can't tall it's there, so I add a bit more and a bit more till BAM! So I think this one will work out quite well.

Delectable Everything Balm

I am always a little skeptical when a product claims to do "everything". This says is will seal split ends, soften heels, tame brows, condition cuticles, brighten dark circles, pop cheekbones and nourish lips. So far I have only used it on my lips, and I have to say I'm not that crazy about it.

Royal & Langnickel Crease/Smudge Brush

I used this for applying Matt Moskowitz to me crease, and for smudging it out a bit. I a really impressed with this brush so far, it's great for detailed work.

So, over all I am very happy with my little treasures this month.
If you want to check out my May glam bag you can find it here.

Would you ever try any of these products?

Or have you tried any of them before?

By the way, and this is VERY IMPORTANT! I am looking for a new foundation, what one would you recommend?

My May Ipsy Glam Bag

 Hello Everybody!
Today I got my very first Ipsy Glam Bag, and I have to say, when my brother brought this pretty pink package in from the mail box it felt a little like my birthday.
If you have never heard of Ipsy before, it is a $10 monthly beauty subscription,  For more details you can check their web site here.

I have to say I love the pink envelope, I think it add a nice touch and make the whole thing a bit more fun.
This months bag is very travel oriented (in fact it's called Destination Chic), so it has many cool destinations on the bag it's self, such as Big Ben, The Statue of Liberty, and The Eiffel Tower.

As far as the product them selves go, I have only actually tried one so far, and that is the lip balm. My bag came with the following products.

Jelly Pong Pong Cosmetics: Caribbean Sun Bronzer Duo in Aruba

I really like the colors of this duo, but in all honesty I'm not sure how much I will use the blush shade, it has more of a coral tone and I am so used to using a pink blush. As for the bronzer, I think it's a really good color for me.

Eva-Nye: Hungry Hair Oil Treatment

I am really looking forward to trying this out tomorrow, it looks and smells amazing! It smells like a cross between caramel and vanilla.

Jersey Shore Spa: Lavender Moisture Rich Hydrating Balm

Okay, this is the only thing in the bag that I have actually tried so far, and I really, really like it. For one it has lavender in it, and two, I can pronounce all of the ingredients, which is nice with a lip product.

Bellapierre: Gel Lip Liner in No 2 Nude

This liner seems to be a really nice color, I haven't used a ton of lip liners so I don't really know how to compare this, but I'm looking forward to trying it farther.

Smashbox: X-Rated Mascara Volumateur

I have been wanting to try out Smashbox for a while, and I am hoping this will turn out to be a good experience. I tend to a hard time with mascaras in general so we shall see.
From top to bottom. Bellapierre Gel Lip Liner No 2, Jelly Pong Pong Bronzer and Blush in Aruba.

Over all I am very happy with my first Glam Bag, and I'm looking forward to next months.
I Hope you all have a wonderful day!
Anna.
