My September Glam Bag

It came! My September Ipsy bag is here!
I always look forward to this coming in the mail, but after last months I was even more excited. I am afraid I didn't review last months glam bag because my computer was down, honestly I think it was the best one so far.
This months bag itself is quite cool, its not as cutesy as they have been( I don't mind the cutesy ones) which makes a nice little change. It is black with silver threads woven in, with a gold and white design on the front. The only problem I have with this bag is whatever its made out of smells a bit funny, when I open the package the first thing I was meet with was this really strong smell I can't really describe.
The first item I pulled out of the bag was the Briogeo Don't Despair Repair! Deep conditioning mask. This is the only one of the five products that I haven't tried out yet, but I am really looking forward to it. I really don't know a ton about this mask other then the fact that is has almond, avocado, and argan oil in it.
The next thing was this TreStique Mini Highlighter Stick in Maldives Luminescent. This highlighter is a really pretty pearly pink shade. I quite like this highlighter so far, its goes on nicely and it blends really well.  I wanted to swatch this for you, but my camera absolutely refused to focus on it.
Then there is the It Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara in Super Black. I am super impressed with this mascara, the volumizing effect it really impressive and the length it adds is remarkable. After a coat of lash primer and two coats of the mascara my lashes were more than doubled in length.
I was really excited for this Crown Brush Ombre Angle Brush. I have been on the hunt for some good brushes recently, and hopefully I will find a set here pretty soon. This is a super soft goat hair brush. I have been mainly using it as a contour bush, it is perfect for a soft natural look.
I always love a good lip balm! This Waxing Kara Sweet Lips Organic Honey Lip Balm seems really nice. I for some reason was expecting it to smell like honey, which it does not, I don't even thing I know what honey smells like.  It feel nice on the lips, not greasy or waxy.

This is a first(second)  impressions post, so if I didn't seem to have any set opinions that's why.
I am overall very impressed with this months bag,  I feel like I will be able to use all of the product. I have to say, I'm not a fan of the message on the little card that comes in the bag, its just not quite my style. Other than that I am very happy with everything

Have a wonderful day!

TJMaxx Haul

 Surprise! I've been shopping again!
My sister and I went shopping today, and I picked up a few little things at TJMaxx so I thought it would be fun to share them with you.
These are all new product to me, so I am super excited to try them all out in depth. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, but I have been keeping my eyes open for some props for blog pictures, and I did find a couple of cute things.

I got this cool sort of star shaped thing, I'm afraid I don't know what the brand is but it was on clearance for $3.00.  It currently is covered with finger prints, but once its all cleaned up I think it will be perfect.
This little sign so perfectly describes me I knew I had to get it, this is for a brand called Collins fresh+original, this was $3.99.
These candles are so cute! I love pumpkins so I knew I wanted to get so kind of pumpkin for Autumn themed posts but I couldn't find anything that was the right size, until I found these cute little things.
As far as beauty type products go, I got the Charcoal Facial Detox soap from Destiny Boutique. This soap smells AMAZING! It contains ingredients such as coconut, peppermint and tea tree oil, you can definitely smell the peppermint and the tea tree, it gives it such a refreshing scent. Next I got a Cucumber Water Hydrating Face Mist from Pearlessence. I really like the bottle this it in, its quite a heavy medicinal looking thing. This is the only on of the products I have used so far, I actually used it in the car on the ride home. Its quite a fine light mist and it smells very much like cucumbers, so its super refreshing. This mist was $7.99
Next up, and probably the one I am the most excited to try out is the Lanocreme Soothing Face Mask with New Zealand manuka honey. Last night I was reading about a company that was using manuka honey in there products, so when I saw these in the store I was very interested to see how they worked. Honey is my  favorite ingredient for homemade face masks but I am yet to use it in a bought one. This came in a box of five, and was $5.99.
The last thing I got at TJMax are these pretty little The Vintage Cosmetic Company Re-usable Lashes in the style Nancy. I openly admit that I have never used falsies before, in fact I am a bit afraid of them, What if they pull out all my natural lashes? Anyway I thought these looked quite natural well as natural as they come, and I have recently had quite a few people ask what I thought of falsies, that I thought I might as well give them a try. These were a grand total of $3.99.

The next two product are not actually from TJMaxx, they are from a small discount market near where I live, the first it the Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque. This masque contain both sea kelp and argan oil, and claims to heal, grow and strengthen dry damaged hair. I hope it will live up to its standards, because my hair could use a little TLC.
The last product on the list is this Benzac Acne Solutions Blemish Clearing Hydrator. I actually just used this on my face and so far I am not very impressed, I really have no idea how well this works, but I have to say it smells dreadful and makes my skin feel stiff.
Have you tried any of these products?
If you have any encouraging words before I try my new lashes please let me know in the comments, and don't forget to leave me a link to your blog.
Have a wonderful Friday!
 Anna.

Online Ulta Beauty Haul

IT'S HERE! My very first online Ulta Beauty order came today, I am super excited to share them with you all. I know I just did a haul post, but honestly I love writing them and I know a lot of you like to read them. I bought six items plus the free samples, so opening up the box felt a bit like Christmas.
So without farther ado,

 YesTo Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Cleanser

My skin has been a bit of a mess lately, and I really don't like using harsh chemicals on it, so I'm hopping this will help it clear up. I was a little worried that this would have a really strong tomato smell but thankfully it doesn't.

Rimmel Natural Bronzer in 020 Sunshine

I have had this bronzer before and absolutely loved it, unfortunately I dropped my old one on the floor:( When I went to the store to buy another one they didn't have it, and every time I went to a store I would look for it, but it was always out of stock in Sunshine.

YesTo Miracle Oil Primrose Mud Mask

I love face masks, they always make my skin feel happy. This one just sounded really nice, I have never heard of primrose oil in skin care before so I had to give it a try.

 Sweetease Face waxing kit

I don't really like to admit I need these, but I have really thick eyebrows that need to be tamed on a regular basis, and sometimes tweezers just don't do the job.

 NYX Studio Perfect Photo-Loving Primer

I've heard great things about this primer, so I really hope it lives up to my expectations.

NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee

Okay, I just tried this and it's AMAZING! I mean, now I know why so many people are raving about it. This is super buttery, but at the same time has a lovely gloss finish, it smells like creme brulee(which is my favorite dessert) and it feels good on, I can't  tell you how long it lasts yet, but I'm sure I will in the future.

I also go some lovely samples of HEMPZ Triple Moisture Herbal Whipped Body Creme, and Tarte High-Performance Naturals Creamy Powder Foundations.
 NYX Creme Brulee, Rimmel Sunshine.

I am so excited to test out all these products a little more in depth, and see which ones end up in my July Favorites, or even get there own post.
What's the last beauty related item you bought?
Have you tried any of these products?
Have a wonderful day.
Anna.
